It is with saddened hearts that the St. Johnsville Fire Department announces the passing of three of its Firefighters.

Fire Department Explorer
John Gallt (Johnny G) passed away on January 25 following a Motor Vehicle Accident. John was a dedicated young man with a bright future and will be sadly missed. His humor and comradery in and around the fire station will be missed by all who knew him.

Wilfred Kraft (69 years of service) passed away on January 16th and Joseph Rider (60 years of service) passed away on January 18th. Wilfred and Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew them. Their dedicated service to the Fire Department and the communities that it serves will never be forgotten.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these three men.
The Fire Department will be sponsoring an ice fishing tournament on February 13th.
Entry forms may be filled out and mailed to the department or handed in to any St. Johnsville Fire Department member.

Tournament information can be found at the following link as well as a printable Registration Form.
Again, our thoughts and prayers go out to all three families in this time of sorrow.
